For years, I was reluctant about going to therapy and seeing a therapist consistently. That all ended this past year when I decided that I was finally ready to work more on my mental health and pursue professional guidance. I discuss how I truly believe that the practice of therapy has gone from taboo to encouraged and supported in only a couple of decades.
In this episode, I get extra personal about my therapy journey — what finally led me to start, how I feel after a session, why it’s not always comfortable, and how it’s been one of the most transformational and positive experiences for me.
