Episode 29: My Health Journey, PCOS Diagnosis, and Season Two Finale

I’m putting all of my cards on the table for today’s episode and sharing openly and honestly what I’ve been experiencing lately. A little over a month ago, I was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and I have been working through all of the emotions and feelings that have bubbled up with this diagnosis.
I discuss my frustrating healthcare experiences, why you need to advocate for yourself, all about what PCOS actually is, my personal symptoms, and how I am managing it currently. I debated recording this very vulnerable episode, but my goal was to help inform and share about PCOS as it impacts 5-10% of women of reproductive ages and is one of the most common causes of female infertility. I hope that it will be helpful to share my story with you all.
