We’re all probably guilty of fast fashion shopping at some point or another. Sometimes it’s nice to find a new outfit and not break the bank – I love a good deal so I totally get it. After Marie Kondo-ing my closet last year, I decided that I wanted to try harder to support companies that were practicing sustainable methods. However, I didn’t always want to go way over budget when shopping.
I found a happy medium with H&M’s Conscious line; I have discovered some great basics that I feel good about and that won’t hit the wallet too hard. While H&M is not a perfect company, I appreciate that it is taking steps in the right direction. H&M also offers a recycling program where you can drop off any clothing or textiles and what can’t be reworn or reused will be recycled into insulation and other materials!
Other than the belt and shoes, this whole outfit consists of Conscious Collection items. The jeans I’m wearing are so comfortable and come in six different washes. It looks like they are sold out of the other items unfortunately, but I’ll link similar options below. As I continue to shop the conscious line, I will share my finds with you all. Happy (sustainable) shopping!
